So Saturday night at like 12:30, I woke up to Hope screaming. She hasn't screamed in the middle of the night for more than like a minute or 2 in a long time. So after 20-30 minutes, I decided that I should probably just check on her. I noticed that it smelled really funky in there. Then I realized why. She had puked all her bed, herself, everywhere. Yuck! My mom was still here, so she helped clean up Hope and change the bed. She appeared to have gotten the flu....again. A lot of good that flu shot did.
So on Tuesday night, right after I put Hope in bed, I started throwing up. Of course, I had the same flu Hope had. Mark stayed home on Wednesday morning so I could get some rest, since I had been up a good part of the night sick. At about noon, he started getting the chills and feeling sick to his tummy. So he ended up not going into work and we took turns of who had to watch Hope while the other slept. Meals have been a little scarce, but I think we are all on the mend. I found it funny that Mark didn't get the same version of the flu as Hope and I. Probably means I'll get that one next.
In other news, I was getting ready to take my mom to the airport the other day. She took her luggage, some trash, etc, while I grabbed Hope who decided she didn't want to walk to the car. My mom got to the car way before us, so I popped the trunk and unlocked the doors. Then I put Hope in the car and hopped in. I started backing up and heard a thumping noise, but thought the luggage was just moving around in the trunk. When I finished backing up and was ready to put the car in drive, my car dinged and told me the trunk was open. So I look at my mom and was like, "Oh, you left the trunk open". She looks at me and was like, "Me? Didn't you put the luggage in the trunk?". I was like, "Uh, no, didn't you?". So I hopped out of the car and looked. Sure enough I had run over her luggage. It was totally stuck under the car. Whoops!

i can't believe you ran over your mom's luggage! That's pretty funny. Hope you are ALL feeling better.
Amazingly, her luggage was just a little dirtier. Thankfully, she didn't really have anything breakable in there.
