Indiana/Michigan 2010 pictures- Part 1

Here are some (or lots) of pictures from our recent midwest trip. The order of them is a little funny, but you get the idea.
Hope enjoyed riding a big wheel down a ramp at my aunt and uncle's house.

The first trip to the beach for both kids. (Yes, we used to live 6 miles from the ocean and my children had never been to a beach).

We went to Essenhaus. After the meal (during which Zane ate a ton), we took some bread to feed the fish. This is how Zane fed them (yep, he's shoving the bread into his own mouth).

Several nights we went to look at deer. (Again, we don't really have many out here). We were surprised at how close we could get to them. The kids loved it!!!

Indiana 2010 pictures- Part 2

My little munchkin eating his first Dunkin' Donuts munchkin. So yummy! (We don't have Dunkin' Donuts by us). We did lots of fun (and several new) things on our trip.

We caught some lightning bugs for the kids. We don't have them by us, and the kids thought they were neat. Above is Hope letting them go. Below is Zane looking at them.

Father's Day

I am so thankful for doctors! Zane had literally been screaming 4-5 hours a day. I was going absolutely crazy. We went back to his GI doctor on Monday, and she decided him to put him back on the medicine she took him off of. We started it on Monday night. By lunch time on Tuesday, I could tell a huge difference. He would actually go play happily and not just hang on my leg. SO nice!!! For most of this week, we have only what I would call normal crying (unless you count today, but I think this is a separate issue). AMAZING!!!! Based on this, we are guessing he has a problem moving his food through him and emptying his stomach (since that's what the medicine helps with). I'm not sure what this means in the grand scheme of things, but we'll see.

Thankful

I am thankful for my constantly screaming child. It means that I was blessed with a second child, and I was blessed with the sense of hearing.

9 months old!!!

Oops... It's been a while. Here are some recent pictures. Zane is getting so big. I can't believe he is 9 months old already. He's crawling now....EEK! Hope has finished her first year of Cubbies. Zane is finally sleeping better, but he still screams a lot while he is awake. He is still pretty small, too. He weighed 15 pounds even at his 9 month check-up. In the past couple weeks, it seems like he has been gaining weight quicker though. We shall see. Hopefully, I will post more soon.
