Boo for being sick!

So I have been sick the past few days. Boo! Thankfully, Hope was really good for me. I think I got the little bug from her anyway since she was sick last week. But I am feeling better today, just a little weak and tired still.
So we decided to walk over and have lunch with Mark today. We had quite the adventurous trip. First, we were getting onto the bike path and we totally almost got run over by two cars (SUVs, vans, whatever). I was so confused on why the cars were on the bike path and not the road. Then they stop and park on the side of the path and people hop out and start skateboarding. Now I'm even more confused. Then we get to the road he works on and are on the sidewalk. We get to a construction entrance and are ready to cross the street and this truck towing a little car turns into the construction entrance. Some guys talk. Then this truck decides to back up back onto the fairly busy road. So he almost kills us and several other people in the process. We get across the street and they are putting in sod. Except it's all over the sidewalk so we have try to get around all that. Then we had to go by the sprinklers that were on. And, of course, they were watering the sidewalk, not the grass. So we get there and I look at Hope. Her face was all wet, so I was like, "Wow. You are slobbery today!" Then I look at the back of the stroller where her head rests and it was soaked. Evidently the sprinklers got her really good. The poor girl was soaking wet! She must have blocked me from all the water. At least the trip home was peaceful!
