Our week so far...

So this morning I went to the Women's Bible Study at our church. It was just a fellowship week, but it was good. There is a small group within it for new moms. I think that it will be good for me to get out of the house and spend time with other people who have been through or are going through what I am. Plus, it gives Hope some more social time with other kids each week. So I am going to try to keep going. It was really hard going today because I so hate new things, especially by myself. But I did it. And I think I'm glad I did.
In other news, Hope has started rolling over pretty constistently from her back to her tummy. And she is sitting up by herself for quite a while. Last night, she made it like 12 minutes or so. And then we picked her up becuase she was crying and hollering for about 9 minutes of that. So she probably could have made it longer, but I was tired of listening to her scream. Oh, and yesterday, she took her first nap on her tummy. It was short (most of her naps are pretty short anyways), but at least she tried it.
The only problem is that yesterday and part of this morning she has been really fussy. Not really sure why, but hopefully the rest of today will go better.

Yay! Sounds like she's making all sorts of progress this week! "firsts" are so fun! I'm proud of you for going out by yourself today! I have a really hard going to new places by myself too. I'm glad you liked it!

Sounds like Hope is doing great. I am so happy I know you were worried. I hope the fussy stops. Poor thing.

I"m glad that things are going well for you. I really REALLY hate to do new things on my own too. I get really anxious and nervous around people and situations i don't know. so i totally understand.
I remember when Jeremy was about Hope's age and he had rolled over a grand total of 4 times (the 1st was at 3 months) before he started sitting and he's not behind. he crawled at 8 months and walked at 10 months. remember to enjoy this time when she can't walk because before long you will be chasing her wondering why you ever wished she could walk. =)
my comment is more like a novel...=)
