Here is a pretty quick and easy recipe that I have learned recently.
Corn Bread Chili Bake
2 cans (15 oz each) hot chili beans
1 small onion, chopped (you can leave this out or only put in half- frozen onion works well)
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package (8.5 oz) corn bread/muffin mix
stuff to make corn bread/muffin mix- (usually egg and milk)
Place chili beans in 8 x 8 pan. Top with onion and cheese. Prepare corn bread mix according to package directions; drop batter by spoon over cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or unitl golden brown.
It's pretty easy and pretty yummy, providing you like chili and cornbread. It's also nice because it doesn 't have meat.

WOW Maybe you are the domestic goddess!!!
Yumm... that sounds good! Sounds like something Billy will like, and something I will like because there is no meat! Thanks, I'll let you know when I try it!
Bethany, looks like Brooke is giving you a run for your money! =)
How hot is this?
Not very... the corn bread tones any spiciness down. But I suppose it depends how hot your chili beans are to begin with. Our store only sells one brand. and they don't always have those. You can always just buy regular chili beans and add some chili powder to your desired level of hotness.
Brookeie you are even talking like a Domestic Goddess with your to desired taste talk. You Rock.
So I was reading this again, not so sure I would like it? Do you? You were always more picky then me. UMM Cody may like it though when he goes off Akins (Hopefully soon he has turned into I can't live with you anymore Crabby) HELP!!
