We went out to see the progress of our house today. This is what it looks like now. Much better than the concrete slab. It will have a second floor eventually. This is the front view above.

The second floor.We have spent lots of time picking out the options. We're not very decisive, so little things take us a long time. So far, we have picked out things like cabinets, countertops, paint color, electrical options, and so forth. We still have to pick out the floors. Then we just sit back and wait for it to be finished. Well, not really. Then we have to pick out our own stuff like fridge, washer/dryer, window coverings, etc.
Don't think there is much else new. We live a pretty boring life.

Looks good so far! And I can't believe how fast it is going. Are you having a fireplace in the family room? It looks like it is framed in for one...

Yes, we have a fireplace. We really didn't want it, but they wouldn't let us not have it.
Nice! That's kinda silly but I guess if they have everything the same it makes it easier to crank out the houses! Maybe you can use it as a toy nook!! :0)

How exciting! It's so nice that you get to pick out exactly what you guys want! You didn't want the fireplace? For us it was a must-have! Course it's also a bit chillier out here! =p
