More, please

New things that Hope has been doing:

- Saying "More, please" in sign language. She had been saying "more", but has recently added the "please". She is so cute when she does it. She will occasionally walk up to us and say it, and we have no idea what she wants, but you can't win them all.

- Opening the doors to the bedrooms. This isn't necessarily a good thing. We keep the doors shut so we don't have to constantly chase her around and yell at her for getting into stuff. The good thing part is that she normally only does it when one of us is in the room. Except today. She just randomly went into her room.

- Climbing onto the couch, sometimes using toys to help her. Again, not necessarily a good thing. We kept things on the back of the couch to keep them away from her. Now it seems nothing is safe. EEK!

- Putting away some of her toys by herself and others when we hand them to her and tell her to put it in the basket. THIS is a good thing. We have been helping her put away her toys every night for a long time, where we moved her to her toy, let her pick it up, then moved her to the basket. Then we went through a short phase where she was throwing tantrums at toy pick-up time. Now we have to point out what needs to be picked up, but she is doing a great job putting them away.

Yeah for Hope learning new things...sorry for the not so fun things they learn to do! But we can rejoice over the good! Caleb also loves to help pick up and we praise that big time around our house since I'm a neat freak! I love the picture of her in her Bears outfit she's just so beautiful!

Michelle is a neat freak I would have never guessed HAHA Sorry Michelle.
I am so happy to hear all the new things Hope is doing. Have fun with the getting into everything I sure don't miss that phase. I also don't miss climbing gates to get everywhere.
Picking up can you teach Emmalee that one we still have not mastered it without a huge melt down.
