Hope and I made it through our first night with just the two of us! We just have to make it one more. Mark went to the Men's Retreat this weekend, so it's just Hope and I. This is the first time we've been alone overnight since she was born. I was not cut out to be a single mom- that's for sure. Not sure how people (like Bethany) do it all the time. Although having family live within 2000 miles might help a bit, but still....
In other news, Hope's eye surgery is scheduled for October 18th. I am excited for the problem to be fixed, but it's still hard to see your baby go in for surgery.

Congrats on making it through the night! I know how hard it is! Matt has to go all the time withe Air Force. Not as much this assignment as the last one when he would get deployed. We're so thankful to be together as much as we are now. Hang in there. And make sure to tell Mark how much you appreciate him!... and maybe it'll be your turn to get away next time! :)
It's very hard when your husband is gone I am glad that you made it through it!! Cody has been gone now for 3 weeks and will be gone for about another 2 or 3 weeks. It sucks! I will be praying for Hope and you and Mark keep us posted.
