Long Days
So I spent the last 2 days at a speech conference. It was called Apraxia of Speech vs Phonological Processing Disorders in Children & Adults - "Practical Approaches for Assessment & Treatment". Sounds exciting, huh?! It was sometimes interesting, and sometimes boring. I'm just not real great at sitting still for long periods of time- like over 10 minutes at a time. I felt like I was back in school- at least there wasn't a test. The good part was is that I got over a third of my Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) that I have to get by December 31, 2008. These are my first ones. They started counting them Jan. 1, 2006. I like to procrastinate. The main reason I went was because it was only like a mile from our home. Rarely will I get a chance to go to one that close. I didn't really care what the conference was on, but it turned out not to be as bad as I thought it might be. Hmmm...... guess sitting quietly in a conference all day makes me ramble about nonsense for a bit. I'll stop boring you all now.
